Default Loosing weight around the middle when you're already thin

I'm 5'6.5" and about 120 pounds. All of my weight is around my middle. My measurements are 34-32-35. I was diagnosed in 2001 when I was heavy and lost about 60 pounds from an unrelated illness in 2006. I've had two children and 4 miscarriages. There are no current plans for more babies until my health is under better control.

Can anyone point me towards some information on basic explanations on what is going on with my health and treatment options that fit me? I have regular cycles and I'm not TTC, and it seems like everything I find online related to PCOS is geared towards loosing weight, getting your period back or getting pregnant, neither of which I need. I'm looking at wanting to fix my estrogen dominance and other issues for the sake of my long-term health, not just so I can get pregnant.

Also, any help in how to loose this floppy spare tire would be MUCH appreciated. I don't feel like I can loose weight elsewhere.

Thanks, Kat. I'll give those a read. I haven't exercised in a long time because I'm been very sick for 2 years with an unrelated illness. I guess it's time to try to get back to it to see if it helps.

Percysgirl - I gain weight only around my middle as well and discovered it was due to insulin resistance. I try and stay on the south beach diet as much as I can and have found it to help SO much. I'm a pretty active person and knew something was up when exercise wasn't helping to get rid of the tire around my waist!
