I've been dxed PCOS for about 5 years. Been on Spiro about as many. Dropped 60 Lbs, and have facial hair well under control. But just today noticed I am balding at the temples. I don't understand why now? The facial hair is no worse. I am not spotty. I don't THINK I've stacked on masses of weight (my clothes still fit). Am still exercising 4-5 times a week.
Could stress do this? Or do I assume it's PCOS related (have also had recurring cysts, which is a PCOS thing for me). Will it grow back? I'm really upset about it.

oh - will diet make a difference? My diet is def not as good as it could be...I've slacked off a lot. And would met help? I never could get started on it, made me really sick...but maybe I should?

Oh jesh I am sorry to hear you have this as well .. i have severe hair loss ... I am thin (apart form the baby looking belly) I eat well I exercise I have most of hte symptoms under control ... but hair loss I am afraid IS a symptom and as you say its at the temples this is very much from PCOS ..

Spirolactone is often given to treat hair loss ? can you not up your dose ... you should go to a derm adn endocrinologist to determine this..
