Default Losing Weight.

I am on metformin for my PCOS and my blood sugar. My question is has anyone seen any weight loss results with metformin and also does anyone have a good weight loss program that has really helped and worked for them?
Thanks

You'll probably get more responses to your question over in the Metformin section. But, I have been on metformin since Sept. 08 and I have yet to see any kind of weight loss. I guess for met to really do it's thing you need a good exercise plan and eating habits. I know lots of women who have had success in loosing with met, unfortunately I haven't. I do know that getting at least 300 minutes a week, 60 minutes 5 days a week, is ideal for loosing weight. It can be 60 minutes at one time or 30 minutes in the mornings and 30 in the evenings, etc.

I have to agree with the above post regarding Metformin. I have not lost weight with metformin. Also, i heard the low GI diet is very good for PCOS'ers. I have bought 3 books so far from Rick Gallop regarding the GI Diet. There are good recipes in there!
