Default Losing weight after having baby for thin cysters?

So, I'm 38 weeks pregnant, (and so ready to give birth in this hot and humid NYC summer!) and I'm concerned about something that might be stupid.... but before I was pregnant, I weighed 111-116 pounds. That was my set point. When I got pregnant, I barely gained weight. I mean, I had to work my first and second trimesters to actually gain anything.

Then came the last trimester.... and I packed on. I did have one week of eating like a rock star, but honestly, I still kept pretty good. I'm not as active as I was, because it's hot and I'm tired. But I've put on close to 40 pounds and while my OB says "it's ok... but watch it" I'm worried that my PCOS will keep me from being able to lose the weight and get back to my old, 112 pound self! I've never had a weight issue before.... Should I do South Beach? Should I just relax?

Relax! I gained 35 with my first and lost all of it and then some by the time I got pregnant with my son when she was only 10 months old. Second time I gained 40, took a little longer that time, but I lost most of it (and I was lower than I wanted to be so I didn't try to lose it all but got to my ideal weight) if you breastfeed, I wouldn't diet at all especially at first. Give it a few months... remember it takes 9 months to put it on and could take that long to take it off (although probably not). Relax, and enjoy your new baby.

I gained 50 pounds and lost 40 in two weeks without doing a dang thing and the last ten, which I had to work at, by 4 months post partum.

LOL. that happend to me too, with both my kids. last trimester weight gain i got up to like 160. it was horrible...for once in my life i had the thigh rubbing together rash. lol. but dont worry...since you are naturally thin i think the weight will fall right off, once those pregnancy hormones leave your body. It took me 4 months to get back to my normal weight.
