PCOS can be treated with medication, with lifestyle changes, or with a combination of both.
If your doctor says that you don't need to treat your PCOS because you're not overweight, then maybe you should see another doctor. Even thin women with PCOS can have insulin resistance, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and other issues that should not be ignored. Treating your PCOS should also help with your hair loss and your acne.
