I recently moved to El Paso, but lived in Louisville for several years. I was referred to this GYN by the owner of a company I worked for. She is absolutely wonderful. She is caring, understanding and EDUCATED about PCOS. She is very quick to return calls and considers your body in whole when treating you as a PCOS MD should.
She practiced as an OB/GYN but know only works as a GYN. Her husband has his own practice and is a reproductive endocrinologist. They brain storm about treatments if needed. I wish I could still see her.
Here is here contact information. Oh, her staff is really sweet too. She employees an ultrasound tech that has worked with an RE, she too is nice, gentle and very skilled. Great practice. Good luck! | I'm from the Indy area and looking for a better doctor to help me deal with my pcos amongst other fertility issues. Dr. Jarrett kind of interests me. If you can give me any more info on your experience with him that would be great! The ob I've been seeing didn't seem to know much about pcos, the RE he sent me to didn't diagnose me with it - it was a internal medicine NP that diagnosed me with it and is currently monitoring me. The Joslin Center for Diabetis in New Albany, IN at Floyd Memorial Hospital has a wonderful endochronology department. All of the drs. I saw there knew a whole lot about PCOS. (and unlike U of L they don't keep you waiting...lol...) | |

I see Dr Homm & Kit also. I really like them both, especially Dr Homm.
My ins doesn't cover the LabCorp either, he just gives me a slip to take over to the other lab for all my lab work.
He is a fertility specialist, so he only sees pple ttc.
I see Dr. Olara Fakunle for my PCOS. She is an endo. I like her a lot, has anyone else seen her?
I see Dr Buck as an ob/gyn. Man, you have a lot of drs when you have pcos!
I'm going to check out Dr Cox. Sounds like a good Dr.
