Aww Apes, I wish you all the best today as you start your new job. As for the daycare it is SO tough to leave them, but it will get better as she gets to know the teachers and the other kids.
(((hugs))) I know your world has be turned upside down and inside out. Just remember when you've hit rock bottom you can only go up from there. Hang in there girl - you are a stong woman.

Apes I'm thinking of you today. I wish we lived closer so you could bring Roo to my house during the day. I even had 2 spots open up as of Friday. Parents decided to get divorced and the mom took off with the kids over the weekend.

Denise- Sounds like you had a successful party.

We went out to the dinner theatre Friday night. We didn't enjoy the show but it was still nice to get out. :-) I went and got my travel shots for Africa on Saturday. 5 shots $500. Holy moly.

Creme- Can't wait for your news. Congrats on making full term. That's awesome.

april-i hope daya has a good day today. it will absolutely get easier. the first week is very hard on both of you. just remember she may not be relaxed, but she is safe.

i decided last week i am not taking anymore medication. I was on met, levothyroxine, baby aspirin, and folic acid. i feel like i was prescibed these due to PCOS. I was never given a GTT before the met. They never had me check my sugars before met. while on met my sugars were always 100 or lower even after eating. my PCP never felt my thyroid was off, but the RE wanted to tweak it a bit so it was perfect for ttc. Since stopping these meds i have much more energy and i have been eating so much less! is it possible one of these meds caused me to be tired, crave carbs and generally feel gross?

Hey ladies! How is everyone doing?? Im doing good, just a little tired, but you know how mondays go!!
Ellie: How are you?!

Sazzi: Maybe the meds making you tired. If your blood sugar was 100 AFTER eating, you need to keep an eye on that! Met isnt supposed to lower your blood sugar unless you are diabetic. But then again, i guess you never know. Maybe since you came off of it, you can check your blood sugar and see how it is off of Met. Hope this helps, glad your feeling better!

Hey ladies!

Well, we may be rethinking the whole dance class idea already. LOL Maggie went this morning to her first class (free trial to see if she likes it) and it didn't go very well. There were three other little girls in the class and Maggie was running all over the place and not only distracting them, but had them joining her. LOL The instructor told us afterwards that they all started out the same way, if we're interested in sticking it out to see how it goes. She also suggested we let her try gymnastics since she is so full of energy. We are going to try that next Monday and see how that goes and go from there. If nothing else, we'll let her decide which she likes best and let her do it. She had fun and that's all that matters.

Creme ~ Congrats on hitting full term! YAY!!

Apes ~ I hope everything went smooth today.

Tara ~ How'd the party go?

Keltie ~ Glad you had a nice night out.

Sazzi ~ Sounds like you may not have needed the meds after all. I'd wait a month or so and see if your doctor will do labs to make sure all is well with you.

Sazzi: Yeah thats pretty normal. i think a normal fasting blood sugar is 70-110, then one hour after you eat is like 140ish, then 2 hours is back to 70-110. But, it just may be normal for you? If you are hypoglycemic, that will make you feel like crap. You will have the shakes, sweating, hunger, thirst, blurred vision, headache, etc. But im sure all is well

thats why i took myself off of the met. i would have episodes where if i hadn't eaten in a few hours i would get shakey, anxious, unfocused, grouchy and feel so horible i would have to chug juice and ended up eating so much sugar i would then get tired as i came down. since stopping met i haven't had that happen.
