Default low BBT? Hypo?

Morning,

I am 28, TTC, and was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2002. I was just flipping through TCOYF to figure out if I'm a slow-riser (first cycle temping) and hit the part about hypothyroidism and low temps.

Since I started temping, I have not been about 97.3 and that was when my thermometer was broken and I have since disregarded those temps. all of my temps have ranged from 96.76 to 97.2

I'm currently on CD 27 and trying to figure out if I've O'd. I've had several days now of EWCM.

I had my thyroid checked out about 6 yrs ago right before they diagnosed me with PCOS - do you think I should have it checked again?

I've always been a very sleepy/cold person - it is hard to lose weight ... but this is just how i've been for a long time.

TIA!

I wish I was able to offer some advice.

Your post sounds like it's describing me. I hope that someone is able to offer some help, or experience - I'd love to hear what they have to say too!

Sorry, I couldn't help.

A.

What is it with canucks???

Yep get your thyroid checked, esp. since you're ttc. A low thyroid, I am told by my endo, can cause m/c.

I have always been cold (i figured its the canadian thing to do) I never hit above 96.8 for temp and me running a fever is 99.1.

6 yrs- there is a lot that can change.

Thanks Canadian - love the Hello Kitty ...

Made a dr's appt for this Thursday and I hope to get the battery of tests (b/w and u/s). I have been off BC since Sept so I assume that my b/w will be "normal" for me and will, therefore, let us know what is going on.

I am hypo due to a thyroidectomy & my temps are super low...usually 96.4 & I've never been over 97.6. Once I'm up moving my normal temp is 98.5/98.6. I read that part in the book also & figured that explained it. I'm always cold & not from Canada LOL
