Default Low blood sugar

Hello ladies,
I have been struggling with low blood sugar since I was a toddler ( i have passed out too many times to count do to this. I mistakenly tried a low carb diet when I heard it was good for PCOS. Boy was I wrong it landed me on my couch lathargic and not able to move. Seriously my dh had to make me a peice of toast just to get enough sugar for me to get to bed. I have always controlled it for the most part with my diet alone. As I get older this is seeming harder for me to do. I have many days where my sugar drops so fast I instantly want to puke. i am so annoyed with my body. Does anyone else have low blood sugar and how do you deal with it?

I just wanted to say that you sound like me. my doc put me on a IR diet but said I had to eat complex carbs and no refined sugars or simple carbs. It seems to be working well for me. before I would eat alot of carbs then I also tried the low carb diet but it did the same thing to me. It wasn't good at all but I find be tracking my complex carbs I can manage it well and it also helped clear up my Acne. and I found I had alot more energy. I would love to hear how things are going with you.

Well I wish I could report how well I have been doing when it comes to eatting but I stopped paying attention the last little while. I could give a million excuses as to why but really I have just been lazy. I need to get back on the train. I'm interested in tracking the complex carbs sounds like we are a like. I will have to do some research. Thanks for the heads up.
