Try eating something with protein within an hour of waking up, and then having your tea or drink your tea with the meal. Some quick ideas would be an egg or two with toast, a small omelette, some cottage cheese, etc.
Eating something sugary works well for diabetics with very low blood sugar, but it can cause your blood sugar and insulin to spike very high and then drop down very low, so you eat again, and it repeats... Try eating small meals with protein several times a day... that helps me keep my BS fairly even. |
