Question Low Carb Camping Friendly Foods

okay I'm going for a 4 day camping triping a couple weeks and I'm just curious if anyone here has any suggestions for Low Carb friendly Camp Foods.
I typically take lots of carrots, celery, sturdy fruits (apples, etc.), hard cheese, granola bars (protein bars this year), PB. And I've been looking through some Low Carb cookbooks for some cracker/snack bar type things.
The camp site area is semi-roughing it. 1/2 mile hike to the modern potty. 2-3 mile UPHILL hike to the showers. So cold foods require a cooler and lots of ice. And there will be ohhhhh.... about 20 or so people I'm going to be with so it becomes a kind of community camp kitchen area when it comes to food. (Some one else is in charge of bringing the hot dogs and that kind of stuff)

Anyone with any suggestions?

Thank a bunch!!!

If you do soy there are these rice cake like chips called Soy Crisps that are pretty good. Nice and crunchy. I like the salt and vinegar and the cheddar cheese ones.

nuts are low-carb and high in protein but make sure you portion them out if you plan to purchase, they are bad in high quantities

mango is another pretty sturdy fruit... try to buy them a not entirely ripe yet so that they will last a little longer - i like em

I was gonig to say, the foster farms turkey hot dogs have no carbs in them. I was shocked because I have eaten them forever and I was sure that all hotdogs had carbs.

I was curious about low carb camping too. We never have enough room for a huge cooler. Unless we are going on a large group/family campout, we are just carrying enough for Dh and I. It is too had to carry stuff for 2. So we end up with a small bag or 2 of chips (depends on if we can agree on one), snack bars (like skippy or granola), hotdogs, etc.

Sorry, will try to finish post later, Dh is calling.

I was thinking, I know that dried fruits are kind of a no-no....but what about those veggie chips. I have seen them in the health food section. I have not tried them, but often have thought about it. They come in bags like potato chips.
