I am Jasleen, age 37 from New Delhi, India. My PCOS history resembles yours very closely (with minor changes)....so you will get the drift. I am now touching 95 kgs and 'am in desperate need for help.
Can you or one of the cysters please help with Indian recipies.
All the recipies I have been going thru are difficult to implement (most of the ingredients are not available in India & those which are, are too expensive)
Do you know of any cookery writers in India who have written low-carb books.
Looking forward eagerly to an early reply.
Thanks......Jasleen

From what I know of Indian food, much of it is already low carb. You can eat curried veggies and meats, as long as there isn't any sugar added. The only thing that you really can't have is beans and lentils. Other than that, stay away from packaged stuff, and refined sugar and flour. Sorry if I"m way off base, the only thing I know about food in India is what the Indian restaurant owners where I live serve.
The site has contributory recipes from all cuisines and segregates it in a multifunctional way. You can make your own plan & it will automatically calculate helpings/calories/vitamins/minerals etc. Worth a check-out.
Cheers!!.....Jasleen
