Default Low Fat Alfredo Sauce?

Hi everyone. I am trying to find a lower fat version of alfredo sauce. I have wonderful broccoli chicken alfredo bowl and wanted to see if I could make it at home. Thanks for any suggestions or recipes.

Hi,
I've used this sauce a few times and really like it. I believe it's off recipezaar.com. Happy cooking ~

1 cup skim milk

1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese or romano cheese

1/8 teaspoon basil (can add more, depending on your pref.)

1. Put all ingredients, except basil, into food procesor or blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour mixture in small saucepan and add basil.
3. Cook over medium-low heat until heated through and smooth consistency.
4. Add more basil, salt and/or pepper, if desired.
5. Let cook on very low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occassionally.
6. Pour over noodles
