Default A low fat tolerance with Met?

Okay, so I have been on Metfomin for 1 month now, I am at my 1500 mg and am starting to realize what I can and cannot eat with these pills. My fat tolerance with met is at a low...I thought I would change from my vegetarian diet to a low carb diet...ummm..nope...can't tolerate cheese, or meat for that matter! I had tator tots even last night....it came up on me at 3am! Any little bit of fat or oil, I will start burping it up, and eventually get sick and up it comes! Any body else have this?

BTW I am going to stay with what has worked for me...in the past. I only hope that it is low enough in fat that I don't get sick like have been, or I have no idea what I will do.

While I haven't pushed the limit too far, I think fat is more of a problem for me than carbs. The 2 meals that sent me over the edge were eggplant parm & pizza. I am soooooooo cautious at restaurants now because they tend to add so much oil to everything.

Though I don't appear to be as sensitive as you. I can easily have cheese on a sandwich or low-fat dairy products (as opposed to fat free).

Today I realized that I can't even stand the smell of cheese - and I loved having cheese being on low-carb since I didn't want to have meat for everything. But now, that's limited also. And it's horrible because as a substance now I have fruit, which is no good. I have to find something else

Its excessive amounts of saturated fats that are the issue for me, PUFAs are fine for me to tolerate.
