Default Low GI Diet Help

Hello Everyone,
I am new to soul cysters, but i have been diagnosed for over a year now. The only medications that i am on are birth control pills. The major problem that I have with it is insulin resistance. I get horrible nausea and I get irirtable and if I can not get my blood sugar leveled off I vomit. I have been managing it mostly with a Low Glycemic Index Diet, which helped me to lose about 15 pounds in about a month, however lately it has not been helping any. I still eat the same and I exercise but the weight has come back and I am almost constantly nauseated.
Does anyone have any suggestions about anything I can do to improve on my diet? I generally eat whole grains, veggies and fruits. I follow the GI pretty well but I am going crazy now and I don't know how to make it get better.
I was so happy to find this site because the only other person I know with PCOS is my mom, and hers doesn't bother her very much at all.

Thank you in advance for helping me out!!!

What sort of exercise are you doing currently? Low GI only took me so far before I had to get really serious about exercise.

Right now I am doing about 45 minutes daily at a gym. Mostly running on an eliptical machine, but also free weights and riding the stationary bike.
How serious about exercising did you have to become? I feel like 45 minutes is a pretty hefty amount, considering my schedule, but if you tell me that you found that more works than i will boost it up some.
