 low overian reserves, normal FSH not responding to clomid..

I have been diagnosed with PCOS some time in 2007. My doctor had put me on Ovral for 6 months , I was not having sweets for all the 6 months and after that asked to take meprate from 14th day, I did not follow diet after starting meprate. We were not so serious that time. In may 2008 we started contacting another doctor. She has started with hyponidd and meprate for sensitizing insulin and was giving FSH shots 4 times with some interval in a month and letrozole for 5 days from day 2. I was going for u/s also. Intially I was O ing around 19th day. After a couple of months i stopped responding to the medicines then for 3 months she has kept me on ginette and then started with clomid and FSH 6 doses on Jan 1st 2009. The follicle was not growing well. She said I have a bad ovarian reserve. I am just 25 and some how I am not convinced with this resolution. She has asked me to go for a normal cycle with out any medicines, she wanted to see how I respond with out any medicines. Now it is more than 45 days I have not got my period. We could not have intercourse between day 12 and day 27. Have not gone fro pregnancy test. I do not have the symptoms either. She said IVF is the only alternative.
Are there any one who has gone through all this pain. I do not know what to do? Should I go for a second opinion? Can I believe What ever my doctor is telling?
