Default Low Sex Drive?

Hello, I have had PCOS at least since I was 9. My problem today, at 35, is that I have absolutely no sex drive. I am married, and this is beginning to be a stressful situation in our marriage. I could go for a couple of months without it. After actually being coaxed into it, it is okay, I just want it to be over. Most times, I am too tired or sleepy, or just don't want to do anything. Anyone else have this problem? What can I do to fix this? What, physically, makes PCOSers have less of a drive?

Thanks in advance!

Nya

Hey Nya... I don't have an answer but I'd love to hear what others have to say about it.
I think I've had PCOS since I was 12, now I'm 36 and was diagnosed last year.

My sex drive has always been a roller coaster... really high (almost manic) right before my period and then really low (non-existent). I actually love sex and have a great relationship with my DH, but these last few months it's been NONE. I highly suspect mine is thyroid related, but since this is just a new version of what I've experienced my whole adult life I also believe it is PCOS related.

What's your input ladies?

There are plenty of women on here who have the same problem.
Here are just two when I looked really quickly. You should do a search for low sex drive:

I have to admit because I have been on so many hormones the last few years it has either been ... a maniac and want it all the time ... or I could go a few years without it. You are not alone. I don't have any answers, and trust me I wish I did.

My hubby gets very frustrated. But for some reason this last month it just clicked for him. Seeing the meds that I am put on for pain/hormones ... it was like the light went on upstairs. I don't know why it clicked now (we have known each other for 7 years and been married for 1). I know this is hard to say, but hubby has to be patient.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
