Unhappy lump in neck

ok so I am freaking out and just hoping someone else has had experience like this: I found a lump in my neck just below my ear and by my jaw that moves around. im not sick or anything and it was a bit tender at first but not anymore. my doc said not to worried but im freaked out it might be cancer.

anyone else? i know it doesnt really relate to PCOS but who knows

Hi have you had a cold recently? Cos it sounds like a lymph gland? Which is normal. Keep a check on it though, but if your doc says its ok then it probably is.

About 20 years ago I got a small lump in my neck about where you described, it shrank on its own after 15 years or so, I can still feel it it's just kind of hard to find now. My doctor told me not to worry about it unless it grew larger or became painful.

Good luck with your lump, hope yours is as problem free as mine was.

Yeah, that sounds like a lymph node! I've had the same problem for about 6 months.

I just hate googling, and the sites that come up are something like "My Lymphoma started out with just a lump in my neck..." etc etc

Glad I didn't have a computer when I found my lump, I was worried enough!
If it makes you feel better get a second opinion.
