Has anyone taken Lupron before??? I stumbled upon a site about Lupron and the effects and outcomes have been HORRIBLE.....
THis is on my list of drugs to start taking soon and im kinda nervous after reading some of these stories
Lupron isn't so bad. Worst for me were the daily h/a, but I get those on prometrium too. Some women experience hot flashes or moodiness, but it's no worse than all the other fertility drugs out there. All drugs can affect us differently, of curse. Welll I called my RE's office and his assistant told me that there are two kinds of Lupron and I told her what I had read and she said that wasnt what im going to be taking. That Im taking the 14day kit not the one that treats Endo.

I didnt conceive with Lupron alone--it was part of my suppression protocol for IVF...you can click on my detailed cycle history link below to see more detailed meds for my IVF cycle. I used it after BCP, then in combo with FSH (Gonal-F) and Menopur (same as Repronex). I used the 14-day kit, then had to reorder more because they stimmed me a bit longer. I used it till a day before trigger.

Im taking it with Bravella, Repronex and HCG and something else... I think Follistism or something Im not sure.
I dont know why my RE put me on all this, Im not suppose to be doing IVF, But he says if i have more than 5eggs then he will retrieve and convert into IVF.... I think hes just hoping that is the case so i will have to pay more money LOL, but whatever works!!
