I have been lurking this board for quite some time. I had not been diagnosed with PCOS yet but was reading up as much information as I could and stumbled upon this forum. I've lurked for about a year, and finally today the diagnosis came in. I do have PCOS. My OBGYN put me on Yaz. I'm really not too sure about it. I've read so much negative about the effects of it that I really feel SUPER hesitant about taking them. (I am supposed to start on Sunday)

Another big issue that I've had is anxiety. My anxiety has been out of control at times. I had been taking Xanax (emergency clinic place gave me one prescription of it in August.. I'm almost out now in October) I was prescribed Buspar today and I look forward to seeing how I feel over the next month. I believe it takes about 3 weeks to note a difference?

Anyway, a bit about me. I'm 28 years old. I work as a chiropractic assistant and piano teacher. I also do some graphic design work on the side. I have a beautiful six year old daughter and recently remarried (one week ago, actually) to a great guy named Tony. I do want to have children in the future, so getting this PCOS under control is a big priority to me. I look forward to getting to know you all better! Thank you already for all the help you have been.. even when you didn't know it!

Congrats on the diagnosis! I've been on Yasmin since I was diagnosed and had no problems with it whatsoever. And it's done wonders for my acne as well as thinning out unwanted body hair.

If you have specific questions, then you'll want to be in the relevent forums, that's where you're most likely to get decent answers. And there are people on here who really know their stuff!

The people who complain about leap seconds screwing up their interval
time computations are usually told to use TAI. They retort that they
need interval time between civil timestamps To me that seems like
what they are really measuring as interval time is not physical
interval time, but how much time has elapsed in civil society.
