Default MAC Studio Fix/ I have questions.

I just bought some. This is really different than anything else Ive ever used. How do i apply it. It is like powder. I expected it to be a creamy liqid type powder but its not. Im not sure what to do with it to get good coverage. Will it dry me out? Thanks.

I use Studio Fix and swear by it. From what I understand, it is a pressed powder with a higher level of pigment than regular powder. Coverage is good, but I'd suggest using a concealer in addition for darker blemishes. The sponge that comes with it works well, but gets gross after a while so I'd suggest picking up a few extra...

Oh well thats a good start, i didn't realize it came with a sponge. It must be in the bottom of the case. Today i put some on as a base then put my liquid makeup on like i usually do. So far, so good. Any other tips and teqniques are welcomed. Thank you for answering me.

Boy do i like this stuff. I got a color that is too light ( even for me) so Im going to get a darker one from ebay. Anyway, I used it alone finally after a week or so. It makes your texture look better and it does have pretty decent coverage. I love my liquid makeup so i am finding that if i use a brush and apply a light layer first I get a great matte look. Now on weekends i would definately only use the studio fix. Im glad I took the plunge. Oh and definately it does not aggravate any skin issues.

I used to use Studio Fix, and I loved it. I ended up needing a little more coverage, and changed to Studio Tech, which is a creamy type solid. (so it comes in a compact like powder, but is creamy) I wore Studio Fix alone, with only concealer underneath.

I started buying stuff at MAC because I'm bad at picking shades. So it's great that they give you the right one. I ended up loving their products. They're so good.
