Post Macrobiotics

Has anyone tries a macrobiotic diet to cleanse the body and get going in the right direction? I'm interested in trying it, and wanted to get some input from others...Thanks, Michael

Smile raw diet

Hey there,

I am currently on a primarily raw diet of fruits and veggies. I have no meat, dairy, or processed foods. The only cooked foods I have are steamed veggies and brown rice. I bought a good juicer and I juice a lot of vegetables. However, I do not eat very much fruit but I do have unlimited quantities of raw veggies. Because of PCOS and other problems I do not have weight loss yet but I have managed to keep my blood sugar stable and I feel better in a lot of other ways. It has also helped with my mood swings a little. I'll be happy to provide you with a link where I got my dietary guide if you want it.

Sincerely, Zara Unruh

That would be great...I'm trying to get as much info as possible. I've just recently given up meat, so far it hasn't been that hard. Any info you could give would be great....thanks, Michael

Default raw diet

Hi,

go to hacres.com They have the most comprehensive. It is somewhat biblical based but I've found the regimen easy to adapt to, less work, and very helpful. If you hunt through their message boards, you can find some pretty good stuff. Giving up meat and dairy was a little of a challenge but I feel so much better. I bought a juicer and I juice a lot of veggies which has kept me even keeled. Let me know what you think and if i can answer any questions for you. Have a good one.

Default Thanks

Thank You so much.....this is EXACTLY what i have been looking for. I would like to know what improvments you have seen so far and how hard it has been for you to stick to. I'm so excited about this, because I have been looking for a biblical way of eating for so long. There is so much info out there that I stayed confused about nutrtion most of the time. I decided the most logical thing to do was to eat the way that God intended us to eat, but I never could figure out exactly how that was....again thank you so much...Michael

Default raw diet

Hey there,

I'm so glad that it helped. I'd love to hear updates on how you are doing. Maybe we can help each other.

The improvements I've noticed are stabilized blood sugar, more energy, less pms symptoms, require less sleep (this is weird for me because I HAVE to get my 10 hours) and my mood swings have been better.

I still have an uphill battle but I'm seeing small changes. It seems like God's way of healing is so much gentler and without side effects like traditional medicine.

Zara

Default hallelujah!

Michael,

I'm so excited for you stepping out and doing the H. Diet. And thanx Steph for the additional sites on raw eating. I'm going to check them out right away. I'm so glad that I'm not alone. I don't have anyone here who eats the way I do so I feel like a lone island in the land of endless restaurants. (Texas)

Cheers,

Zara U.
