Default Mad At My Doctors Office.

I took a progesterone test 4 weeks ago. i didnt ovulate. so i called into the doctors office to find out what to do next.. they said "oh well put the chart on his desk and well see where that gets you.." i started my period on feb 16th.. then next thing you know i get a call today saying "when you start your period come in every day and well monitor your cycle doing blood work from day 4 to the day you ovulate and well go from there..

1 WEEK AGO.. I CALLED THE DOCTORS OFFICE AND THEY TOLD ME TO GO AHEAD AND START WITH THE CLOMID AND NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT.. THIS TIME WERE GOING TO SEE WHATS GOING ON AND WELL SEE ABOUT IT THE NEXT CYCLE..

GOD.

like how smart of them to wait this long...
im now on cycle day 7.

What you can do is get a new doctor. Is your doctor an OB/GYN or a RE? If its a OB/GYN I would suggest getting an RE they are alot better about things that are time senstive. When I was taking Clomid and was seeing my GYN and would call saying I needed a U/S on a certain day because I had started my period no one who answered the phone had any idea what I was talking about. I ended up talking to like 3 different people each time. Finally when my GYN told me that I was going to need injectables and she would recommend me a RE I was like thats okay I'll find one on my own and thats what I did. Its ok to doctor shop. Having a baby is way too important to not have a supportive doctor and staff.

I agree, an RE would be more concerned about TTC and the timing of it all. May I suggest you get it all set up now for the next cycle. Like, get orders (without dates on them) that you can just take to the lab on your own on the appropriate cycle days.
