What does one take magnesium citrate for? Is it good for your system?
I have never used this, but I believe it is a laxative.
Magnesium is a beneficial supplement to take. Insulin resistant people have been found to bve low in this. magnesium helps relax your muscles and nerves, but it also produces energy within the cell, especially for the heart.
citrate is just the form of magnesium, it is magnesium oxide that has laxative effects mostly, althouth the citrate can affect some people too. magnesium chelates, orotates, or diglycinates are the best forms.
