((HUGS)) The PCOS wasn't caused by weight - it was probably just aggravated by it. That's a touchy subject with me because my OBGYN told me that PCOS is something made up by fat women to excuse their gluttony (she's no longer my OBGYN).
Are you taking a good multivitamin? I take one, and an essential fatty acids capsule and biotin daily for hair loss. I also use a seaweed shampoo and a deep conditioner daily. I have noticed a major difference. I don't know if it would work for you, but anything's worth a try at this point, right?
I've got no idea how to stop the hair growth. I use Vaniqa, which is a prescription cream that you put on twice/day. It's pricy, though, and it only slows down the hair growth. The hair comes back once you stop using it. It works, though. I only have to do one light plucking daily now, instead of two intensive pluckings! And I only have to wax for the little hairs once/month now.
Hopefully, somebody else will reply with more info.
