Hey! I've had this "problem" since I can remember. I found that when I tan at the tanning salon or use the tanning myst it helps cover up alot better without layers of makeup. But I found the best coverup makeup to come from Chanel (Radieux Natural Beige # 4), Shiseido Liquid Compact Foundation, MAC Studio Stick Foundation, MAC MoistureBlend Foundation. I know stage makeup is heavy but it works so damn well too. No stores carry stage makeup in my suburb of NY so I order it online. It's a bit cheaper than the rest too! Hope this helps!

DX: 1995 / Seeking treatment now! Got AF for the first time on 3/09/07!!!! Horray!
I use mineral makeup most days, but when I'm going out, I get out the MAC Full Coverage. That stuff is a miracle- if I was putting makeup on a man who needed to cover his stubble (Trans etc.) I'd use this. Some people say it gives them acne, I haven't ever had that problem with it though.

I do a couple things.. I keep my face as moisterized as possible.. because dry patches really are noticable, and using a makeup primer helps keep the makeup stay put all day, and gives it a smoother surface to stick to. I also use a lot of concealor, and layer the make up in area's i have the most problems. Learning how to blend, and manipulate it is the best way. I also found I got the best coverage using a foundation brush.
I don't use anything expensive, revlon, or loreal.. I have a hard time finding foundation so I will buy a few different things and play around with it.
I think that buying foundation like MAC is probably your best bet, because it will really cover up so much better.
I have thought about tanning again. it really was easier.. it also helped the scaring on my face! I have olive skin, but on the paler side. My friend would be happy if i went tanning with her haha
