Default Male Pattern Balding

Hello! This is my first post and I sure hope I can get some advice on my embarassing problem.

I have kinky, fine hair and am thinning quite a bit on my crown to the point that I have to perform "The Donald Trump Sweep" - - brushing my hair over.

Does anyone know if hair extensions would work for that area on me? There is hair to grab on to - - it's just very thin and fine.

Thank you for your advice and any solutions.

Hi
And welcome...

I'd suggest that the hair will have to be stronger FIRST before adding any weight to the hair that you have. It may very well break and damage what you have.

Howdy! I know the frustration! I went into my hairdresser and asked her to make me look like I was not a 50 year old man holding on to the long hair in the back, but thinning on top. She chopped it off from right below my shoulders to about two-three inches all the way around my head. I cried. CRIED. I was so embarassed. BUT It was for the best, I have gotten used to it, I love it, and I got a wig, see picture. It looks natural and I have my hair blended in with the wig in the back on bottom, so my hair is apart of the style. I use a Toni Bratton wig purchased from HSN. Youwould have to play with it to make it look the way you want it but, I highly recommend it. easy to care for and you don't have to worry about problems extensions can cause. Also, your hair is probably becoming a different texture on top, may not want to bond anything to that finer hair. I hope I helped! (PS. Friends I have had for years cannot tell it's a wig.)

Default Hair loss

A few years ago I tried extensions and they looked good. However, now my hair is very thin in the front and I cannot wear them. If your hair is thick enough to cover the tracks it may well work for you. Have you tried any medication to lower the testosterone. To my knowledge the dht converted from t is a major cause of hair loss in pcos women.

I just joined too! Im so glad to have found this site!

Try Bumble & Bumble Hair Powder! Its awesome!! I simply cannot live without it now! Its a spray that covers the scalp so it looks like you have more hair than you do. If I didnt have it I know I would be much more depressed and stay home much more often. The only downside is it comes out if you swim, and it gets on your pillow... but its a price im willing to pay.

I also came across a new product called dermmatch, I just ordered it im gonna try it too.

Hope this helps!
