Man., Sask, and NWOnt Get together

Just wondering if any cysters would be interested in getting together in Winnipeg at some point to share our storries, and have a good time!!

My doc is in Winnipeg, so I know there are probaly alot of 'peggers who go to the same doc.

Hey Naturegril, I was chatting with a Manitoba cyster awhile back and we started to talk about a get together. Unfortunately, she moved and had to go offline. She said that she would e-mail once she got things back in order and I havent heard from her since so I guess things arent going smoothly yet. I am still interested in getting together. I think it would be great! So, lets take a look at the basics:
What did you have in mind to do?
Where do you want to meet?
When were you thinking would be a good time?
I'm about two hours from Winnipeg but thats where my endo is so I'm used to the drive. Basically, anything in Manitoba is good for me and possibley even Ontario providing that you arent wanting to do this terribly soon (that'll give me a chance to save some money LOL)
So yeah, lemme know what you had in mind!

I was thinking of Winnipeg, there's lots there! I was thining a hotel/conference centre, make it a week end thing or something.
I'm four hours away from Winnipeg, but that's no big deal.
Maybe in the new year??
Depends how much interest there is !

Yes to Winnipeg, yes to the New Year LOL. I'm not totally sure if I personally am up for a whole weekend thing but most definatly a day thing. I'm not really sure what we should do though. Obviously have breakfast or lunch or something right off the bat just to get to know each other and then do some fun things together....any ideas?

I am in Fort Frances!!!! Can you belive it? We are all practically neighbours! If we went to the 'Peg before Christmas, we could get some shopping in too!

She is an endocrinologist. She is super super nice and knows alot about the endocrine system although I wouldnt call her a specialist in pcos. If you are ttc, she probably isnt your best option either. She really doesnt seem to know what to do with me now that we have had failed clomid attempts and poor SA results.

I think that after the new year is a good idea, although for those from smaller towns, a before Christmas get together might be nice to get in some shopping. But that's really close and that time of year is insane, but both good ideas.

Maybe if there are more ladies from Wpg. those from out of town could room with someone from Wpg. Just an idea to keep cost down, I know there isn't much money to spare before/after the Holiday Season.

I was thinking the same thing a few monthes ago but I moved and began a new job. I am no longer in Winnipeg but I am willing to go back to meet my fellow cysters.

I am also willing to plan a get together as long as someone in Winnipeg would help to make some arrangements. I just don't want to jack up my phone bill to much!!! I cannot afford it. If I plan a get together though it would have to be in the Spring or Summer of 2004 as getting time off right now does not look very promising!!

So if someone is willing to help me just send me a private message.

I live in Winnipeg, and see Dr. Mactavish at heartland. I actually find him pretty good for me anyways.

I have secondary infertility. After having my first child I was diagnosed as mild pcos and IR, after none of the weight I gained during pregnancy could be lost no matter what :

Anyways, my biggest problem now is being motivated to loose weight. I need to loose about 40 lbs, and i did it once felt great, and now I am back up there again, such a bummer.

I'm glad there is alot of interested cysters!!!!
I agree the spring is better, travelling on the roads isn't such an issue, and money is a little tight in the new year!!!!
