Mane N' Tail = Stopped Hair Loss I have noticed that since I started using Mane N' Tail Shampoo & Cream Rinse I have had less hairs showing up in the shower/comb/towels...
I think this stuff is really helping. Anyone else use it and notice a change?

Shortly after I was Dx'd with pcos, I used Mane n Tail RELIGIOUSLY, and grew out nice, long, thick hair. I left the conditioner in as a leave-in.

Have you tried their detangler? I love it, I have a lot of curls which means a lot of knots. This stuff is great.

It's been awhile since I've used their products. I don't even think the detangler existed back then. When I first started using it, it was still mainly used on horses, and people were JUST starting to try it. It's only been in recent years that they've extended the line to more 'people products'

My uncle used it years ago when he was losing his hair...it stopped falling out and he actually started regrowing it!

Wow I'd never heard this before. I used it years ago when I worked at a Pet Store- I got it at cost. At the time I wasn't having a hair loss problem. Can you get it at places like Target now?

I've only ever seen it at Sally's Beauty Supply, and some drug stores in NYC.

Thanks. There's a Sally's nearby so I'll have to check it out. It's worth a shot!

I think I've seen it at Target and Wal-Mart. It does seem to make the hair thicker.

They've extended the line to more 'consumer' products. I still like to use the original formula with the instructions for 'horses' on it.
I used it for MONTHS (the conditioner, especially), and grew my hair out very long and strong.
Plus, it's cheap.

I remember my mom using this when I was a kid
At that time, we would purchase it from the farm supply store. I didn't know that it was available as a "people product" now.

On the website, it said it's sold at Walgreens.
I think I'll be taking a trip over there to check it out.

ooooh this is interesting - I'm currently bidding on some mane n tail stuff on e-bay right now. Even before I read this thread. I had read that Jennifer Aniston uses it and thought 'if its good for her'.
spooky!!
I hear that the hand cream (hoof cream sorry!) is fab too.
