Default Marvelon BCP

Has anyone had experience with marvelon? this is what my endo gave me. i have tried diane in the past and had great results in terms of acne and hirsutism but developed a thing called vestibulitis, which is very painful sensitivity in the opening of the vagina.
i havent started marvelon yet....
what are the main diffs between marvelon, diane and yasmin?
thank you to anyone willing to respond

Hi

I tried this a few years back. It made my bp go up, and my weight go up too, and I felt constantly sick

sorry, still, everyone is different, so hopefully you will be ok with it, and don't think that you may be the same! Actually, I can't take any bcp - POP or combination and now have the mirena ius.

hope this helps
Eva

Hi

Sorry, bp is blood pressure. Mirena ius - is an internal mirena intrauterina system. Basically it's a device that gets inserted like a tampon, it gets put in by a gyn. It lasts as a contraception for 5 years, and I'm using mine to help with my horrible periods.

Marvelon supposedly has virtually no androgenic effect.

I used it briefly, and found it alright. Not great, but not bad either.
