I noitced that you have a pill form 'Example Supplement Regimen', (#1) and a powder form, (#2). That is good information! May I ask which form you generally prefer? I was sort of thinking of some pills and some powder formulas (to go into a smoothy) -- I like the idea of pre-measure the powdered products for some number of days in advance instead measuring from several bottles everday -- then do you store several days worth of all your powdered suppliments together in one container or place each days worth in a seperate container? Also have you been following a regimen similar to one of those for a good period of time and if so, would you mind saying what changes you have noticed with your PCOS symptoms?
Thanks for all of the good work, the good informaiton and research and for sharing! |

Estrogen excess (common in PCOS) collects extra copper, and birth control pills increase copper to near toxic levels. This can be remedied by taking Zinc daily at 15mg.
Sadly most multivitamins contain too much copper and anything above 2mg daily is hazardous for PCOS.

Points: 4,485.64 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 4,485.64 | I hope Mary Kate is still around! I found her web page when I first started finding out about PCOS a couple of years ago. The information she has compiled is very valuable, even if you don't personally use some of it. I was originally diagnosed about 20 years ago and not much was know about the PCOS at that point. Mary Kate is one of the women who shared her experiences and knowledge to help all of us. Many thanks!
