Default Mass near Ovary

I posted around a week ago saying I was bleeding after sex. I went in for an ultrasound, and they found some sort of mass near my ovary, they are sending me to another doctor for surgery to have it taken it out. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? THanks!

a friend of mine has a very large mass that had grown around her ovary. she had it removed via open surgery and ended up losing that ovary as well.

I have not gotten any more details from my doctor yet, but do you know how long she was out of work for?

I had my left tube removed 5 weeks ago and am still out of work. I go to the dr Friday for a follow up to see I can return to work. The surgery would be similar to that which I went through. Although I have been feeling pretty good for the last week, I still become very tired in the afternoon.
(Just so you know, at first they thought I just had a mass as well. After doing a PG test it turned out to be ectopic PG which has started to rupture.)

Good luck! Will keep you in my thoughts.
