Each state is different. Do a search for your state's maternity leave. If it's worded "for adoption", then if your company offers "maternity benefits" then you will qualify.
My state has the verbiage for adoption. However, my company has a way around it. They allow women to take FMLA then short term but they don't have "maternity leave" so I didn't qualify for any paid leave.
Dave Thomas Foundation has information you can obtain or have sent to your company about providing paid adoption leave and adoption benefits.
HTH and good luck!!!

I'm gonna stop looking back and starting moving on
And learn how to face my fears
Love with all of my heart, make my mark
I wanna leave something here
Go out on a ledge, without any net
That's what I'm gonna be about
Yeah, I wanna be running
When the sand runs out
