Welcome Everyone to our May Daily Scripture Thread. Here is the link to last month's thread. For some reason, it won't post the link correctly, but it still works. ~April Daily Scripture~ I will try very hard and post a message everyday in May. I was not around much in April. It was a very hard month for Josh and I and I am slowly healing. Although I wasn't posting, you were all in my thoughts and prayers. Here is my message for today: "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." ~2 Corinthians 3:17-18~

So this is a little long compared to what others have left but this helps me when I'm not dealing well with things. Keeps me in check with "there is a time for everything." I hope this uplifts you as well!

Happy Friday everyone
I have a prayer request if you all don't mind. My ex/current/whatever boyfriend and I are having major issues again. If anybody has realized every other week we are broken up or fighting or something, then just last week I thought he was going to propose & it's pretty much an awful mess. Well, my prayer request is for him. The reason we are so on again off again is because he has some major problems with substance abuse. Alcohol & drugs. I need to know how to properly address this problem with him because I do love him, but I can't marry someone or have children with someone who isn't stable. And In the last year my uncle died of an overdose & a friend of mine's husband died from drunk driving (just last week, pray for her & her son as well). I can't stress to him enough that I just don't want the same thing for him. You know, God says he can make all things new... I just want God to make him new. I don't know what to do anymore.
Ezekiel 36:25-26
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Hi everyone! I feel like I have had my head in the sand lately - it's just too bad it couldn't be the sand at the beach!!  Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for posting such wonderful verses and reminders of who God is and how much He loves us. I am always so encouraged by your posts!!  Lindsey - I will be praying for you and your DBF, and your friend and her son as well. What an awesome verse - it is so encouraging that God does make all things new!! Keep us posted.

Hello to all!
Jennifer - Thanks for that verse...that really spoke to me today! PCOS brings many fears and God can deliver us from ALL of them, if we trust in Him! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!
Today's verse from me: Proverbs 18:10 - "The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe."
I'm thankful that when we are weak and tired, we can run to Christ and be filled with strength to keep going.
I would appreciate you guys praying for a dear friend of mine who also has PCOS. She has to have a cervical biopsy on the 20th and is very scared of the results. Let's lift her and this situation up in prayer to our Father!

Good morning girls! Heather - Great verse! Praise the Lord that His strength is perfected in our weakness!! I will be praying for your friend - please keep us posted! Heidi - Great verses!! And thanks!! I go to Professionals for Women's Health. They are only ob/gyns, but I love my dr there. They have a lab on-site so they are able to do IUI's. If this one doesn't work, I have an appt on the 29th with Dr. Kennard at ORM to discuss IVF. Have you ever seen her? (PS - I heard the new NKOTB song on the radio the other day, and thought of you.)
