Amen!! That is such an incredible message! I have chills!

Here's my verse for the day (I think this has been posted before, but it's one of my favorites, and the conversation got me thinking about it):

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." ~ Ephesians 3:20-21

Heidi - How are the met s/e's? Are they easing at all? I remember my first few weeks on it were pretty miserable. Hope you're feeling better soon. I'm so excited - we're going to move forward with IVF. We will probably wait a month or two to start the process, because I want to get as healthy as I can beforehand. We also want to make sure that we understand our insurance completely and are prepared to pay our part. (And truthfully, as much as I want a baby, I think I'm putting it off a little b/c I'm scared of all the shots and procedures. I had such painful IUI's that they had to drug me with Valium, and I can't imagine that IVF would be any easier.) I've been stalking everyone on the IVF thread to learn as much as I can.

Heather - Thank you for the prayers, and the encouragement! How are you doing?

Jennifer~ IVF is hard core, and I am not saying that to scare you. At ORM they do it in the office without anesthesia. This cuts down on the price and everything. But, that being said it honestly was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. Dr. Kennard was so sweet and tried to make me as comfortable as could be, but it hurt. Most clinics do the retrievals in hospitals under anesthesia. That being said, it is also the procedure that has the highest success rates.

If you want more information, I will PM you my email. Let me tell you I am the biggest chicken crap EVER, but if I can do it so can you!!!! The chance of a baby at the end makes all of the injections and pain worth it

Heidi~I am sorry to hear that Met has given you horrible s/e. I'm hoping they ease up and things prosper for you. I know you have gone through alot with TTC and your such a strong person. I admire your strength and wonder if it's possible to just get an once through the mail...won't hurt would it? I'm also so sorry that the IVF never worked for you. I'm still puzzled as to what the Lord has in store for you, but it must be unbelieveable...b/c even I cannot fathom. I understand how it might be difficult for you to hear of others success with IVF when yours wasn't...in that I ask God for peace and comfort in your heart. He will give you the desires of your heart...somewhere...somehow...we just do not know the hour of His miracles. Sending you alot of love and hugs.
