May help hair loss...... I've been reading a book called "Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, A woman's guide to identifying & managing PCOS" by John Eden. Seen here: Amazon
He states that in some cases scalp hair loss is due to an iron and/or zinc deficiency in which you should have blood tests such as full blood count (looking for anemia), iron studies, and serum zinc level in order to determine if they are low and need suppliments. I personally wouldn't just start the suppliments though without talking to your doctor! But wanted to share this information since I didn't know it and hadn't seen anything posted regarding this.
