Wow, this was a good day to start posting on these boards!! I just joined WW on Saturday! I'm on flex. I am still new to all the lingo and nuances (what exactly go into the stats again? Also, there seemed to be a LOT of passing out of stickers...). Right now, I'm a size 16, but I feel like they should really make a size 16 1/2 or a size 17!!! Size 18 in any plus size section is like waayy too big (wide) for me, but if any of the Misses clothing comes in size 18, that is usually perfect for me. However, it's pretty rare to find 18 in the Misses section (in my experience).

In any case -- I'm looking to get down to size 8!!!

Ugg! Size 8...I don't remember EVER being a size 8...lol. I think my left thigh is a size 8 though. Pants fit me funny and I'm always in between sizes. I can't even find a pair of jeans to fit me correctly. My goal is a plain old size 14!

Got my latest weight last night (I don't allow scales in the house). I'm 218! Woot! I thought for sure I was in the high 220's still. I've been avoiding the scale for about 3 months now, I get too obsessive.

Hi gals,
Can I join you? I've been on weightwatchers for the past 4 years--I lost 35 lbs on it 4 years ago, and got to my goal weight of 132lbs, which I maintained for years. However, this winter, due to a combination of factors, I regained 10 lbs. And it really sucks because now I can't fit into any of my clothes from last summer and it's stressing me out!!!!

I'd love to chat with fellow cysters on ww. Right now I'm on flex but I think I'm going to switch to core for a while.

I hate clothing sizes. I decided that I am not buying any more plus-sized clothes (clothes with a W in the size). I can usually fit into a regular 16 or 18, so that is what I will be buying. What really frustrates me is that the brands all have different sizing systems. I bought one brand in a size 18 and it was too big (I could take them off without unbuttoning them!) while another brand I bought a size 18 and they were almost to tight! Very frustratrating! My other problem is that my hips/butt are weigh bigger than my waist, so when I find pants that fit over my big butt, they are too big in the wasit. Okay, enough of the sizing rant.

I didn't weigh in this week. I wasn't home all week. I stayed with my mom after my surgery and her only scale is down stairs and after knee surgery, any unnecessary stairs are definately out. Not only that she has a lot of stairs and they are really steep, so I probably would have fallen down them anyway. I am hoping to lose some this week, but I am going to have to do it all with diet since exercising is out. I will probably start physical therapy sometime next week. I am going to the doctor for my post-op appointment on Thursday.

Hi ladies,
Sorry to again be so slow at getting the spreadsheet up. I can't justify being inside on the computer when spring has finally arrived. I'm planting a huge veggie garden, so I should be feasting well come late summer.

I'm so happy to see so many new names on here. I think it's exciting starting the plan, because usually you see immediate and sometimes dramatic results if you follow the plan correctly.

mommyloveslydia - How long have you been in a rut? Maybe if you share your routines with us, we can make some suggestions for you to try!

Shiv - I did WW online, and might join again since I finally have high speed internet. You can always post on here what you're eating and we can help you figure out how you're doing with points. And as long as it's the right foods you're eating, you should have success. Sometimes when people start doing flex, they do a great job tracking their points, but still eat a majority of them in simple carbs - like crackers, bread, rice cakes, granola bars, etc. If you really vamp up the diet in high fiber veggies and fruits, you'll do really well.

The funny thing I've noticed about sizing is that brands like Gap or JCrew, or others that are usually pretty pricy, are sized lower than they should be. So if I'm a size 8 usually, their 4 or 6 might fit me, and because I feel like a superstar wearing something with a size 6 on it, I'll spend the extra money on it - even though I'm really an 8! Great marketing!

sarah2008 - if your insurance will pay for it, you can't go wrong! WW is more than just a diet, it's a lifestyle, and a doable lifestyle at that.

Default I'd love to join you lovely ladies!

Hello all!

I'd LOVE to join this thread if I may I've been counting points for a week now and I'm down about 5.5lbs. I bought South Beach and was thinking about doing it...and I've still got it on the brain but I've decided to stick with WW for now. I'm losing weight on it and I think it'll be SO MUCH easier for me to be able to eat according to WW. I've learned to cut WAY back on those fries...but I can still have them if I reeeeally want them...I just know they'll suck up my points quicker!

The water is killing me. I need more water. I've given up all diet pepsi (for now) and I've been drinking those flavored sparkling waters that gave no sugar, no calories...no nothing! I still feel guilty about it though because I feel like it's not "real" water! I'm just so weird when it comes to drinking water. I need it ICE cold and on top of that if it tastes funny I won't do it. We recently just moved to Texas (we're military) and the water here tastes "funny" compared to what I'm used to. I KNOW water is such an important part of weight loss and health in general...I guess water will be my next important goal.
