Well, I had WI today and I’m down a whole 0.2 lbs – lol. A loss is a loss and I’m not sweating it. I tend to lose really slowly and, as long as the scale is moving in a downward direction, I’m happy. I’d really REALLY like to lose 5 lbs before going on my cruise (I leave May 30th for Alaska), but that would mean losing 2.5 lbs a week for the next two weeks. Considering I’ve never managed to lose that much in one week consistently, I don’t think I’m going to make it. I’m only 1.2 lbs away from my 10% goal though!!!!!
BTW—For those who were concerned, I did get a B-12 suppliment and have been taking it religiously. I managed to only have meat 3 times last week- Go me! I love my veggie days. | Congrats! Any loss is a good loss. And your right, I should try not to think hard. I almost didn't go to my meeting. Quote:

Tomorrow I get my treadmill and I can't weight!! I did walk outside tonight with the dog but it started sprinkling and we are getting snow tonight. I am so tired of the weather!! It is supposed to be nice this weekend so I get to ride my bike!! Yippee.

I kind of fell off the wagon for a little bit...but I'm back on! I didn't gain anything back though...at least I maintained so I can't complain too bad. But it's way too early in the game for me to stall out so I need to get my butt in gear again!
I think I really just need to start planning more. It's just so hard for me sometimes though because I'm SUCH a fickle eater. I'm really picky and on top of that if I'm not in the mood to eat something I really don't want to eat it. |

I can plan the best meals ever, but when I get home from work, I never want to eat them. On the other hand, if I don't plan anything, then I usually end up eating something that is really unhealthy. I usually try to plan my breakfast and lunch to be between 10 and 12 points, so I have more flexibility for my dinners.
I have a question for you ladies. Do you eat all you flex points during the wekk? I have 21 left this week. I hardly ever eat any of them, so I feel like I have eaten a lot this week.
Congratulations to all our losers! Welcome to our newbies!

I weigh myself too much though which I should probably stop. I weigh myself every morning & it drives DH nuts. Guess I need to work on that...
Sarasue ~ I personally try and not eat my flex points. That being said, let me emphasize "TRY" haha. Doesn't always work! If I dip into them it usually isn't by a lot...maybe 10. You lose faster if you don't use the flex points right??
I'm kinda doing the WW thing on my own...don't go to meetings so I know there are important bits on info that I miss. |

Okay so - I am proud of myself. I went to Denny's for breakfast. I ordered an egg beaters veggie cheese omelete (cause I hate the taste of egg beaters so I have to have something to spice it up). I only ate have off it, then I had just a couple of bites of hash browns. And 1 1/4 slice of the toast. I have never at that little before. I would have ate the whole thing four weeks ago.

I did weight watchers years ago, without much success.
However, three weeks ago I started again (doing it on my own, without meetings, etc). I am doing the point system with information I have gathered online. I have lost 9 pounds in three weeks! I have been really happy with the point system so far.
I also exercise with an exercise ball, ride a recumbent bike, and play a lot of Wii tennis, bowling, golf, and boxing.

I've been wondering about this for a while, but since you brought it up...what do you/did you do with the leftovers?
We all know that portion sizes you get when you're out to eat are too big. Some stuff makes really crappy left overs though....plus I'm really bad about eating leftovers. Do you just leave the extra there or are you good about taking them home & eating it later? Sometimes I get conflicted...
Obviously it doesn't make sense to stuff yourself for the sake of clearing your plate. But at the same time I feel guilty about wasting money/food. Sometimes I wish places wouldn't be so weird about adults ordering off the kids menu! |

I need to get better about working out though. I took a break from Curves because I wasn't mentally ready to be there. Now I've dropped some weight & am feeling better & I'm ready to kick it up a notch. |

I did spring cleaning and gardening today for my AP's! In the summer I hate going to the gym so I do things outdoors. If my Y membership wasn't free I probably wouldn't have one. Even in the winter I prefer walking. There was a girl in our WW meeting that lost 90lbs only by walking. I like variety so I did get a bike for Mother's Day.(the old fashion kind..I love it) I also bought online a Richard Simmons VHS tape..they are so cheap and I love doing them. YOu can buy the DVD's but I am cheap. LOL I can do these in the basement and sign and laugh..and no one sees. LOL
My meds are working great!! I am down 15lbs in 2 weeks and 3 days..I know this isn't normal but I am so glad it is working!! The doctor wants me to weigh myself twice a day for the first month I am on this med. There are days I weigh less at night then in the morning.

My Mood: Points: 15,660.43 Bank: 48,487.93 Total Points: 64,148.36 | I weighed in this morning and I am down 2.2 pounds. I was so surprised I weighed myself three times just to make sure. I went over my points almost every day. I didn't think I was going to gain weight, but I was sure I wasn't going to lose more than a pound. I only have 1.8 pounds to go before I hit the 50 pounds lost mark, and only 12 pounds before I am under 200 pounds. I am almost down to the weight listed on my driver's license!
Jess ~ I am also doing WW online. I have never been to a meeting. I don't really have time to go to meetings. I often wonder if there is stuff that I am missing, but what I am doing is working so I don't worry about it too much. I might try to go to some meetings this summer.
A plug for Curves ~ Before I hurt my knee, I was going to Curves. The thing I really liked about Curves is that I never felt self conscious like I would at other gyms. I like how Curves is set up as well. That being said, I definately agree that you have to feel ready for it if it is something you are going to do. I still did workout video's at home, especially on the weekends when Curves wasn't open.
