I am sorry if this is TMI but I just HAD to ask y'all:
Does anyone else have really bad, painful gas? I mean, painful like tummy is bloated and feels really really "full"? The gas isn't smelly (the TMI part sorry ladies! ) but it's really just painful in my tummy area.
What is this from? I'm not eating anything out of the ordinary....it is usually the worst around when AF visits.....
Me too honey.i used to have bad episode of constipation and gases just before every AF comes and my tummy looked like im pregnant....so bloated...really night mare nothing too in my diet was trigering it...no drug would releive it.
When i started Spiro ,and it is diuretic,u cant beleive it ...i dont have that problem any more...
I read that when we retain more fluid in our bodies that can inturrupt our bowel movement and can cause bloating and constipation...and that what happens before each AF ,and i noticed when i was removing excess fluid from my system ,i got my normal bowel again..
I hope you get releif soon
Yup, always a few days before AF. I've always been like that for as long as I can remember, but its got a bit worse with the Metformin. However it is bearable, just a bit embarassing if its noisey! lol

I too have this. It is really bad right around AF. It is more embarrassing than anything, but luckily after 10 years together my BF has experienced everything with me (I think).
The ability to talk about the embarrassing stuff on here is part of why I like coming here!
I have had a problem with painful gas build up in my stomach for a few weeks now. My problem is more that I can't get rid of it. I purposely steer clear of carbonated drinks (which is sad for me because I was the diet coke queen for years) so I don't make it worse. I'm tempted to try some of those over the counter medications to reduce it, because it isn't much fun.
