maybe wrong diagnosis

hi i am not sure if this was ever posted here before but i was watching 1 of my favorite shows bearded lady so i said to myself hey that sounds familiar i watched it and this woman had the same symptoms of pcos i said she most likely will be diagnoised with pcos so too make a long story short she was diagnosied with pcos but when her testosterone levels didnt decrease she was dianosed with NONCLASSICAL CONGENITAL ADRENAL HYPERPLASIA it has the same symptoms as pcos very freaky i sugest you google it if you wanna find out more or watch the episode.

Well, I think if you haven't been tested for adrenal problems you should be. A good doctor will rule that out before ever diagnosing a patient with PCOS. PCOS is a diagnosis of exclusion and other conditions (such as problems with the adrenal glands) should always be ruled out first. Do you know if your doctor ever did any such testing?

yes my doctor had tested my adrenal glands i posted for anyone whos testosterone levels have not improved within 3 monthes of treatment
if anyone who has had an ultrasound showing an ovarian cyst i think it is safe to say they have pcos
