I have used Nair on my arms every 2 weeks for the last 7 years and I can't imagine ever having hairy arms again.
Don't leave it on too long.

I like using it on my underarms but as for my face, no way..not even the facial kind...it breaks me out and it's a pain in the ass.

TOO FUNNY!! I am sitting here with bleach on my moustache as I read your nair post! Nothing makes ya feel more feminine than bleachin' yer stache and burnin' the hair off your arms!

As Shania Twain says..."MAN, I feel like a woman!"

Nair works well on the arms, I think, and doesn't make the hair grow in worse. However, it grew back just as quickly as shaving; I had stubble the next day.

I love Nair for the arms, but it REEKS! Even the new "nice smelling" ones, (I've tried them all!) stink.

It doesn't really work on my leg hair.

I'm starting to get into using Veet now though, since it works on my legs too, and doesn't need to stay on me as long. Smells a bit better, and doesn't irritate my skin at all.

Another option, and this may sound weird, but keep an open mind, is Magic. It's a depilatory similar to Nair but made specifically for the removal of facial hair on black men. It reeks too, but since it is made for facial hair on black men, it is much better for the more sensitive skin, and for thicker, sturdier hair.

It comes in ready-made cream and powder form that you add water to. My ex boyfriend used it, and suggested I try it once after a failed Nairjob on my legs about 5 years ago, and I've used it ever since.

You can find it at Walmart and those places.

LOL, I was so stoked. Iw as trying so hard to type while I had Nair on my arms. I just wanted to share that experience. the first time I did it yesterday it did not work. So I think I put the stuff on tooo thin... I tried again yesterday right afterwards and it worked. I cant believe the difference it made. I felt so liberated. LOL.

Lori, that is too funny that you bleaching at the same time.

digitalAngel, No joke about the reaking. I used the cucumber and melon one and my whole house stunk like a perm.

Rapunzel, I know what you mean this was the first time that I did it but I have heard people say to others about the lack of arm hair.

I have to admit its much better then have boy arms. LOL

Thanks for sharing w/ me. I dont think I will use it on my face

hugs
