 Medication help??
I am not sure where to put this , mods please move if necessary.
So I have been on Metformin ER for 6 weeks now, i went back to the doctor today to see the results of a blood test I had done a couple of weeks ago, she told me that I am low in estrogen and progesterone. Everything else was fine, my thyroid , prolactin.
I am carrying on with the met as I am starting to notice slight improvements from it, basically I spoke to my doctor about maybe going on BCP but I have a history in my family of blood clots so she doesnt want to put me on it, she has suggested progesterone only pill. She has given me information on the various types on BCP and to be honest nothing seems suitable.
I am guessing if I am low in estrogen & progesterone then I need to somehow balance them . But how? I am not sure what to do. I was thinking about maybe natural progesterone cream? Could this help.
I am starting to worry about the conseqeunces of all this ,like osteoparosis and stuff.
Can anyone advise what could be my options.
