Default Medications besides Glucophage?
What kind of other medications are there out there.... as far as what met glucophage does for you.... I am at the point that I want to go back on a medication for my insulin problems.... but glucophage made me so sick.... I am just curious what kind of medications are out there so I have some idea on what to talk about with the doctor when I can get into seeing them...

Besides Glucophage, there is Glucophage XR. The XR is extended release and supposedly causes less side effects.

Two others are actos and avandia. I have no personal experience with the actos, but had very good results with avandia.
