I have been diagnosed with PCOS for about 10 yrs now. my last doctor said there is nothing he can do for me. Is there anyone currently getting medical treatment other than birth control pills, and metformin that has brought back their periods back on and reduced their weight? I read kates story and it touched me to not accept defeat. I did got for a while with changing my diet and exercising but have hit rock bottom for a while and now I must do something. I need help seriously. I need a physician that is not afraid to do what needs to be done. Please help me somebody.
i went on avandamet (combination of avandia and metformin) + met combination and i didn't get my period.
So my endo tried Bromocriptine (prolactin inhibitor, even though my Prolcatin is in the normal high end) and avandia ... with these 2 i got my period back
