Has anyone had issues with their weight while on Clomid or Femara? I lost 50lbs last year and we decided to start TTC again in Jan 2009. I started Clomid in Feb and March with no luck. Started Femara in April and it actually worked(i actually ovulated...no prego). The issue I have is that I have 20-30lbs left to lose but I have only lost 5 since January. I am working really hard at not getting to frustrated. Does anyone else think it might have something to do with the meds? I really think that might be part of it. I have up and down weeks. Nothing major. But like I said, 5 lbs since Jan.
I just want to see if anyone else has had this experience.

That can be debatable. I do not think that your weight should have an effect, but other people may disagree with me.

I am obese, and I do not ovulate on my own. I only respond to Clomid when I am on Metformin. Sometimes it's just a matter of finding the combination that works for you. Fertility treatments are not an exact science, sometimes you have to play around with the medicines, try different dosages, and try different combinations.
