Default Medroproxpr (provera) question...

So, I took the full 7 days of progesterone to induce a period so I could start taking Clomid, but I still haven't gotten a full-on period and it has been 7 days since I took the last pill... I am getting pinkish discharge with some streaks of red -- started yesterday morning -- and I don't know whether to consider this my period and just start taking the Clomid on day 3 or what... Anyone else have this problem? (I am also on 500mg/day of Metformin -- just came back down from 1000mg/day because I am a "lean sister" and was having signs of hypoglycemia)... Any advice would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance...

If I were you I would ask your doc. Some say that spotting can be counted as AF and some want a full blown AF before you start the clomid.....good luck

I think af is on her way. I would count day 1 when you get a good bleed and have to wear a pad/tampon, so maybe tomorrow if it comes full force. In the past I have used 5 pills of provera but typically take 10 days. It usually comes 3-4 days after I take my last pill, butcan take as much as 14 days.

As it turns out, my doc said to count it as day 1... I went about 9 days with the weird pink discharge... Then, after a day when I thought it was ending, I got a full blown period... That lasted until "day 19" according to my doc's day 1 assignment... On day 21, my blood work showed that my progesterone was only increased to 0.7 (from 0.6)... Bah! I am moving up to 150mg Clomid next month, but I am waiting another week before I take the Medroproxpr... And this time, I will wait for an actual bleed before I take the Clomid... Thanks for your response!
