I've been taking the medroxyprogesterone for about 3 years now with no side effects except getting AF about 2 days after I stop taking it.

As far as I know it's progesterone. I take it to regulate my period. Dr. doesn't want me going 3 months without one. For the last year I've been taking it every other month. I was getting one naturally and one on progesterone. It's not a BCP.

Since July though, when I saw an ENDO for the first time, she told me not to take it (it is a hormone) that the Glucophage usually regulates the cycle. I'm only taking 750 mg and I don't think it's enough because since I'm off the medroxyprogesterone I have had some kind of bleeding every day! I have to give ENDO a call.
Maybe I need a stronger dosage.
