Meet-up Ottawa

I was wondering if once again... anyone was intersted in Meet-ups in Ottawa.

I have planned them a few times, and sadly i wait alone at the location for an hour, and then go home..

It's hard to talk to myself about stuff ya know??

So if anyone is interested... please reply.. and answer these questions

What day is best?
What time of that day?
What part of town ?
and
Any recommendation for a place to meet?

Hi Ladies,

I would also try to join you. I went a meet up some years ago and it was interesting--everyone was at different points in there life, one had kids, I was TTC and a couple were pretty happy just taking BCP's.
Now, I have a DS--Whoo hoo! But still have issues to deal with.

I'm also in the West End.

My mode of transportation is OCTranspo, so anything that is easily accessible by bus is good for me. 5-10 minute bus ride from Downtown.

When is best for you guys? Evenings and/or weekends are better for me.

Hi Ya!

Well, my DH works the weekends, so evenings any day (except Monday-I'm hoping to check out a yoga class) would fit for me. (6-6:30pm maybe?)

Maybe, somewhere like Lincoln Fields mall, or Bayshore? Trying to think of someplace good for busing it and not too far for Stephanie in Kanata either.

Oh I am so sorry, i remember replying to this message, but i think that's one of the times that the site went down, and i didn't realise that it had not posted.

What evening would work for you? I cannot on Wednesday of this week, but usually can. I know it's hallowe'en next week, so might not be a good week to meet.

Hi Ashley,

Yes, we did meet up. First, at Bayshore that one day we posted (unfortunately Lea couldn't come at the last minute so it was just me and Stephanie. But we chatted up a storm!) and then we (all 3) went to East Side Mario's at St. Laurent the other weekend. It was pretty cool.

I haven't been in contact with the girls lately, but we were thinking of getting together again Dec 16th. That's a Saturday night. So if anyone (like yourself!!!) is interested in meeting up with us, just post or e-mail to let us know!

Hey nightrider...

I am leaving for Florida for a week starting tomorrow, but after that I would be available... We usually have met up on evenings or weekends. What time is best for you? and what part of town do you live in, and do you have a mode of transportation??? I know it's alot of questions, but it's just so it makes it easier to try to co-ordinate something. I am in the west end . .but I use the OC Transpo all the time . .I have a pass, so as long as a bus stops close by it is good. . . and most evenings are good . .and I am in Ottawa usually every 2nd weekend as well . .so there are lots of times that would be good for me.

I live in Centretown and would like to come to the next meet-up. I'm free Thurs/Fri evenings, and anytime on Saturdays. I use OC Transpo, so anywhere accessible by bus would be great! Keep me updated
