New to all this - does anyone know of any local meetings (Kent), or resources that are helpful. As to date have not found anything!

Hi Natalie - Welcome to SC. I am also based in Kent. I don't know of any meetings locally, however we could always arrange something if you were interested?
I don't know if there are any other cysters who may be interested in arranging a meeting?

Thank you very much I am in the process of finding a meeting point but to date no joy, to be honest I am really not worried now as I am surprised how friendly this place is so I will be here more often (with a cuppa!).

Thank you for your quick reply. I am not really with the language yet - pm (technology - cannot understand text language either!)
Whitstable - thats funny, I was down there at the weekend (went for a walk along the seafront, then had fish and chips! start the diet today). And your right it is not far from me about 45 minutes.
Fantastic to talk to someone who is new and can relate, it can make all the difference.
Oh congrats re: the big day. It will come round really quickly.

It's nice to know that there are other people so close to me!
Thanks for the congrats on my wedding, it is coming round so quickly! So much to do, so little time!

Had a look at the lingo, I think it may take me a year to learn - so hang on in there!
Do you know of other people close to us then?

Do you have msn or anything? I need to set mine up, but we could chat using that.... I know that soulcysters has an instant messenger, not that I've ever used it! I will have to investigate it!
If you are having problems opening your pm, you can always post in the ask kat forum to find out if there is a problem with your account....
