Has anyone used Megace? My Dr is switching me from Prometrium to Megace because the Prometrium treatment was not working for me. I was not using it to induce AF, it was to prevent uterine cancer. I just want to know if anyone has had any reactions to the Megace or how did it work for you?

I had to use Megace after my hysteroscopy/laproscopy in May to remove several nasty polyps caused by endometrial hyperplasia. They were worried that there was cancerous tissue hiding in there somewhere. I took the Megace for a month and went for a follow-up fluid sonogram and all appeared to be well. I'll be having another endometrial biopsy Monday and I'll let you know how it goes. So far so good! I never had any side effects or anything while I was on it. My RE was very adamant that we use foam and condoms along with the pill while I was taking it though.
